Full To The Brim

I'm in a really good place at the minute.
Very happy, full with food, coffee and I start my new job tomorrow.

I've just got back from an entertaining afternoon with Robert's family from his Mum's side. There was around 20 people including children, myself and Rob.
At one point, waiting to be seated for food, I was passed a near-newborn girl. She was beautiful. Christian (Rob's soon to be brother-in-law) looked at me and Rob with the baby and told us we "look like a great family!". Great. The family members got lots of pictures of us together.

I've had a fun day.
X Factor shortly.
Work tomorrow.

Sooooo..

I have a wonderful embarrassing story for you all to laugh at..
(more so than the one Toni brought up over coffee in front of Rob and Kyle in Caffè Nero yesterday..)

So yea..
I attended a 21st Birthday party yesterday evening with Rob and his friends & I wore my favourite blue heels..
After his sister and his friends all taxied into Wigan, we decided to leave and have a good cup of tea at mine. Only, I'm not so good walking long distances, in the cold, in the rain, with any form of heels on.
I went over on my ankle a couple of times.. Rob wanted to get a taxi back to mine, I insisted on walking.. It took us half an hour.. & I've badly grazed my right knee..
Badly. We were walking home and all of a sudden, I was knelt on the floor, Rob was laughing, I was laughing.. and 10minutes later and a little closer to home.. all my leg was covered in blood, Rob freaked out, I just mopped it up with my cardigan.
Oh it was funny looking back at it.
Finally when we got in, Rob made brews and I cleaned my leg up..
Eeeeeeeeee.
A fun evening for all..

So he totally loves his present..
I'm the best by far :)

Roberto is 21 today & I can't find any (decent) wrapping paper for his present.
I don't know whether it's what he wants.. But I think he'll appreciate it. I hope he does!

Since Sunday evening, All I've done is watch Frasier, play darts, eat, drink red wine, sleep, watch The Big Bang Theory.. Until midday yesterday. I'm turning into a slob.

I can't wait to start my new job!
I have Margaret's retirement meal this evening with the rest of the Lees' crew..
I'm excited & I can't wait to wear a dress!

And tomorrow is a big Bonfire at Robert's Nan's.. I get to meet the other members of his family.

Friday, I'm looking forward to a Caffe Nero lunch with Toni, even though Tony's transferred to the Bolton branch now forever.. Eeeeeeee.

My hair's long enough to curl again.. I love it, I love it!!.
And!!.. It's gone darker. Still reddish, but gingerish no more!!

I have to sit through The New York Giants match later..
